Tramper – Starting early on a Monday and returning late Friday with some Saturdays involved. You will be an experienced Tramper, (If your scared of the dark or sleeping alone this job isn’t for you).
The client operates a fleet of 44 plus vehicles and is growing, work is varied, but is curtain sider and does involve regular strapping of loads, you can find yourself doing deliveries to Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl distribution centres, collecting loads of pallets to drop at customers, reels of paper to take to printers, you name they will carry it.
Drivers that want maximum weekly hours will thrive, this client will keep you very busy, Monday to Friday is £17.50 Phr, and Saturdays are paid at £21.00 Phr. Regular and on-going work for the right driver.
The ability and willingness to communicate with the traffic office verbally through-out the day is essential, for example if you are delayed more than 45 minutes at a customer you must inform the traffic office, You will usually be issued a unit that you will keep the use of on a regular basis, they are fully kitted out with Fridges, microwaves etc.
Looking for long term, maximum hours and tramping this is the job for you.
