View All FAQsHow do I register as a driver with MKD Recruit?
It’s straightforward. Give us a call or drop us an email and one of our consultants will walk you through everything. We’ll need your licence details, CPC card and a few other documents but we keep the process as simple as possible. No lengthy online forms, no automated systems.
What types of driving jobs do you offer?
We cover the full range, temporary shifts, temp-to-perm and permanent positions. From a single day’s work to long-term contracts with established employers across East Anglia. Class 1, Class 2, 7.5 tonne, ADR, HIAB, Moffett and more.
What areas do you cover?
We cover East Anglia in its entirety, operating from our base in March, Cambridgeshire. If you’re not sure whether we cover your area, get in touch and we’ll let you know straight away.
Do I need a CPC to register?
Yes. A valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is a legal requirement for professional HGV driving in the UK. We’ll check your card is current as part of your registration. If yours is due for renewal, we can point you in the right direction.
How quickly can you find me work?
That depends on your availability, licence class and the roles we have live at the time. In many cases, we can place drivers within 24 to 48 hours. The sooner you register and get your documents to us, the faster we can move.
