Working out of Wansford near Peterborough for a Pallet distribution client, covering 1 of 3 set runs which is roughly 8 drops and collections in a typical day. This is not a rush around type of role, but you will be busy, start time is 0730 with a typical finish of 1700.
You will be trained in how to operate the PDA system, which is an essential tool you will use to keep the traffic office updated of progress and prove which deliveries and collections have been done. Daily vehicle safety checks are standard.
You could be directed at the last minute to make a collection or sent out to make a last minute delivery late in the day, this is to be an accepted aspect of the job, and if you feel you emotionally cant deal with this do not apply.
Monday to Friday only, no weekends.
